The papiermache god

by
EOTR

I was a divine ruler over all i could see.

secure in my power to
rule over my heart and eyes

to make all understanding as i desired.

it was delicous.
I devoured at a rate few could surmise.

Yet when the truth entered.

I was as a vessel of papier mache.

broken like dust in the wind.

The light warm resting place for the ashes of my childhood.

A firm ground under the feet of manhood.

To know I am created.

My name is written on the scroll.

I am a son.

Was it your intent that some lines start with capitals and others not? Hard to say. Maybe you wanted to say something with that--or did you forget to hit the shift key? I really don't know. Like in line 1 and 4 you wrote "i" instead of "I". Typo or a special meaning?

Powerful words. Do I understand it right that this is about Adam and the first sin?
